Attire Policy
Here at Kingsway, we want to always keep a clean and professional look. With that in mind, we want all students and social media posts looking as uniform as possible. Professional athletes may wear any attire they want during the pro sessions, though all recreational students will need to adhere to normal attire protocols, which are as follows.
The No-gi Jiu-Jitsu attire must be base white or base black matching rash guards and shorts. This means the uniform must be 80% black or 80% white. Logos are acceptable, as are other colors, as long as the base color is white or black. All gis must be white, with the exception of black belts or any rank above, who have the option of wearing white or black, and women can wear pink. Tee shirts, baggy clothes, pockets, zippers, etc, are not allowed to be worn.
Men are not allowed to wear compression shorts or spats without also having shorts over them. Black or white rash guards must be worn under the gi. If you are visiting or forget the proper attire, we will have black and white attire for you to purchase. We are not trying to make you buy our gear. Only to look uniform and professional. You do NOT need to wear Kingsway gear but must adhere to the black and white uniform policy.
